About the job
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Strategist to lead our most strategic customer engagements, guiding them from initial workshops through successful project delivery. You will collaborate closely with executive sponsors to identify high-value use cases, define tightly scoped projects, and ensure successful outcomes. Working within a pod structure, you will manage the executive relationship and the overall shape of the delivery, while partnering with a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who will handle the deeper production builds. You will remain hands-on with configuration, workflows, integrations, and platform tooling, translating technical progress into tangible business results and driving user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customer executive sponsors to scope projects, translating business problems into concrete deliverables with clear ROI.
- Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews to ensure project feasibility.
- Collaborate with FDEs on the technical build, focusing on configuration, workflows, settings, and integrations.
- Own technical enablement and adoption, including training, building playbooks, and coaching customer teams.
- Monitor technical feasibility during delivery and adjust scope as needed.
- Identify and scope expansion opportunities during delivery.
- Escalate product gaps and customer pain points to Product and Engineering teams.
- Build reusable playbooks to enhance the FDE organization's capabilities.
- Establish and maintain executive relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Communicate the vision and plan to C-suite stakeholders.
- Translate between business outcomes and technical implementation for both sponsors and build teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Deployment Strategy, technical consulting, or Engagement Management with ownership of scoping and delivery in AI-production workflows.
- Strong understanding of agentic coding and LLMs, including production behavior, failure modes, and resilient workflow design.
- Hands-on experience with workflows, integrations, and platform configuration.
- Ability to read Python/JS-TS to partner effectively with engineers.
- Experience shipping AI-native workflows beyond the prototype stage.
- Ability to quickly assess enterprise engineering organizations and scope high-leverage interventions.
- Executive presence to manage C-suite relationships and technical credibility to engage with engineering leads.
- Domain depth in FSI, insurance, telecom, high-tech, healthcare/life sciences, or semiconductor is a strong plus.
