About the job

Our mission is to automate coding, starting with building the best tool for professional programmers. We are a flat organization with a small, talent-dense team that values truth-seeking, passion, and creativity. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code. We are scaling our Deal Desk function and looking for a high-ownership individual contributor to join the Americas team. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Business Operations, partnering closely with Americas sales leaders to structure and win enterprise deals that form the backbone of our growth. You will also help systematize and scale how we get those deals done.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Americas sales, legal, finance, and revenue operations to structure, negotiate, and close complex enterprise deals.
  • Serve as a thought partner to sales reps on deal strategy, including pricing, competitive positioning, negotiation approach, contract structure, and executive engagement.
  • Help evolve our pricing model and deal frameworks by spotting trends, surfacing patterns to finance and leadership, and driving changes.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to systematize operations at scale, such as approval workflows, contracting playbooks, pricing guardrails, sales enablement materials, and deal desk operating cadence.
  • Improve existing tools and processes (Salesforce, Ironclad, pricing infrastructure) by partnering with the GTM systems team.
  • Balance a high-volume deal workload with longer-horizon strategic initiatives, managing competing priorities across multiple reps and deal cycles.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in consulting, investing, commercial strategy, deal desk, or a combination, with a track record of owning outcomes.
  • Experience with enterprise B2B deals, ideally in SaaS or infrastructure, including direct experience with $1M+ ACV contracts.
  • Experience operating in a high-volume deal environment and scaling processes, playbooks, and enablement.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable analyzing pricing, building ROI models in Excel, and grounding strategic recommendations in data.
  • Possess a strong point of view and the ability to back it up with data.
  • Operate with urgency, ownership, and minimal supervision.
  • Based in or able to relocate to San Francisco or New York City.
