About the job

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Workforce Intelligence Analyst to own the last mile of their enterprise-grade data platform. This role involves building an AI-powered self-service analytics suite to empower the People team with data-driven decision-making. You will drive adoption through a hybrid strategy, enabling the People team with pre-packaged HR dashboards and insights in Visier, while also building custom content and analyses using Claude connected to modeled data. As a Senior Individual Contributor, you will own the Visier platform, define the self-serve analytics roadmap, and partner directly with various People team functions to understand their goals and build the necessary metrics, context, and AI-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical and functional owner of the Visier platform, including configuration, metric definitions, security models, and vendor relationship management.
  • Build and extend Visier content, including metrics, boards, and alerts, and expand into new data subjects as new systems are onboarded.
  • Manage the integration between the data platform and Visier, collaborating with Data Engineering on upstream models.
  • Own data quality by defining checks, triaging failures, and driving fixes back to source systems.
  • Ensure consistency between AI-assisted answers and Visier dashboards, critically evaluating AI outputs and identifying missing context.
  • Document data models, business logic, and known caveats, treating context as a core deliverable for platform usability.
  • Design access and aggregation rules for sensitive people data, including compensation and performance.
  • Act as an embedded partner to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, and Business Partners, synthesizing findings and communicating insights.
  • Transition the function from ad hoc data pulls to a durable reporting cadence focused on organizational health and talent delivery insights.
  • Build and run enablement programs, including training, office hours, and documentation, to enhance the data literacy of the HR function.
  • Help build and deliver the self-service analytics roadmap, translating business questions into deliverables and identifying when process or system fixes are needed instead of dashboards.
  • Connect business objectives with data to provide strategic insights.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in people analytics, HR technology, or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on Visier experience, including at least one implementation or significant capability expansion.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency working directly in a cloud data warehouse.
  • Deep understanding of the HR domain, including recruiting, compensation, performance, and how underlying systems record this data.
  • Demonstrated experience enabling others through training, documentation, or converting reporting backlogs to self-service.
  • Pragmatic approach to data governance, balancing standardized dashboards with exploration enablement.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent workstreams, and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid li
