Crusoe is seeking a Senior Director, Developer Advocacy to be the public face of Crusoe Cloud for developers, ML engineers, and technical builders. This role requires someone equally comfortable presenting publicly and working technically, with the ability to build trust with practitioners and translate that into awareness and adoption. You will define how Crusoe Cloud engages with developers across social platforms and technical communities, creating a cohesive narrative that cuts through the noise. Your responsibilities will include engaging directly with developers at events, capturing their perspectives, and generating excitement for Crusoe Cloud through compelling content, especially short-form video. This position sits at the intersection of advocacy, content, and community, partnering with Developer Relations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to make Crusoe Cloud a platform of curiosity and trust for technical audiences and decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the credible, recognizable public voice for Crusoe Cloud to developer audiences, building genuine relationships.
- Develop and own a distinctive point of view on AI infrastructure, GPU compute, model training, and inference.
- Represent the real developer experience back into the company, surfacing insights for Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Conceive, script, and produce short-form video content to raise awareness and spark interest in Crusoe Cloud.
- Build a consistent content engine across various formats, focusing on awareness and interest.
- Ensure all content is grounded in first-person technical understanding.
- Define Crusoe Cloud's developer engagement strategy and point of view to stand out in the AI infrastructure market.
- Own a cohesive editorial calendar across social and community channels, ensuring a consistent narrative.
- Establish and lead Crusoe's presence in developer communities (X, YouTube, Discord, GitHub, Reddit, etc.).
- Build a feedback loop between community conversations and internal teams, translating developer signal into action.
- Extend Crusoe's voice beyond practitioners to architects, economic buyers, and executives.
- Translate developer credibility into broader awareness and reputation for Crusoe Cloud.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Communications to align developer narratives with decision-maker messaging.
- Represent Crusoe on the show floor at developer conferences and meetups, engaging directly with developers.
- Capture developer views and reactions at events to feed back into content, product, and go-to-market strategies.
- Generate excitement for Crusoe Cloud through authentic conversations and an engaging presence at events.
- Identify creative ways to reach developers and technical decision makers.
Requirements
- Proven ability to be the public face and voice for a technical product to developer audiences.
- Demonstrated technical credibility and ability to earn the trust of practitioners.
- Experience in defining developer engagement strategies and creating cohesive narratives.
- Proficiency in conceiving, scripting, and producing short-form video content.
- Experience building and managing content engines across multiple formats.
