Crusoe is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage the master production schedule and act as the central heartbeat of plant operations. This role is critical for optimizing project planning, execution, and controls, serving as the primary link between customer expectations and production availability to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. You will collaborate across internal teams to ensure projects are ready, materials are available, and delivery deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the production master schedule for continuous, 24/7 plant operations.
- Monitor customer orders and align delivery expectations with production capacity by collaborating with Project Managers.
- Identify critical paths and proactively resolve resource conflicts, material shortages, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Generate scheduling and materials reports to identify potential shipment issues, labor requirements, and inventory gaps.
- Maintain accurate project data within the MRP system (Infor Visual Manufacturing).
- Lead production review meetings with leadership, highlighting project status, delays, and workforce needs.
- Drive collaboration between Procurement, Materials Management, and Production to ensure accurate lead times and warehouse levels.
- Monitor and manage the 90-day production outlook to refine the scheduling process and improve order fulfillment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in metal or electrical manufacturing.
- Solid computer literacy in MS Office and Google Workspace (advanced Excel/Sheets).
- Experience with MRP/ERP software (Oracle, SAP, SAGE, or Infor) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of material flows and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk/bend for 8 hours or more daily.
- Must be able to pass a background check and participate in a drug and alcohol program.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills and a team player attitude.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is a plus.
- Specialized training in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Advanced experience with Infor Visual Manufacturing is a plus.
