Cohere is seeking a Solutions Architect to play a significant role in growing the company's Defence and National Security business. This dynamic role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, focusing on building customer demos and proof-of-concepts that highlight the business value of Cohere's AI platform. As the technical relationship owner, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into technical solutions. You will also serve as the voice of the customer, liaising between clients and the product team, providing guidance on best practices, identifying platform improvements, and cultivating technical champions within customer organizations to drive adoption and gather feedback.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver agentic AI solutions using Cohere's foundation models and Agentic AI Foundry - North.
- Architect scalable, secure, and customizable NLP and generative AI solutions for enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with customers to understand workflows, design pilots, and translate business requirements into technical solutions including model fine-tuning, custom agents, and agent orchestration.
- Support the deployment and integration of LLMs and custom solutions into production environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructures.
- Lead technical engagements, including AI architecture deep dives and workshop facilitation.
- Provide customer feedback to the product development team to enhance agentic AI capabilities and shape future features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution architecture, with expertise in agentic AI, model customization, and deploying tailored AI models in enterprise contexts.
- Strong hands-on skills with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and cloud-native deployment frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with cloud managed AI services such as AWS Sagemaker, Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Vertex AI.
- Experience designing and deploying 'agentified' AI workflows involving multiple interconnected models or agents.
- Hands-on experience building on agent orchestration frameworks like Cohere North and deploying custom agents to production.
- Familiarity with model fine-tuning methodologies and developing AI agents for specific workflows.
- In-depth understanding of generative LLMs, including their strengths, weaknesses, and operational considerations.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI architectures to technical and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with security standards for deploying agent-based AI solutions, including data privacy, model safety, and access controls.
- Experience working in a startup-like context is a plus.
