Cohere is seeking a Solutions Architect (SA) for the Southern Europe region to drive business growth by partnering with account executives and the partner ecosystem. You will help leading enterprises and public institutions adopt AI securely and at scale, focusing on sectors like defense, financial services, telecommunications, energy, and the public sector. As an SA, you will be a technical expert, trusted advisor, product evangelist, and thought leader in applied AI, sitting at the intersection of Forward Deployed Engineering and AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customer problems and map them to Cohere solutions.
- Act as the trusted technical advisor, owning the technical relationship with stakeholders.
- Increase the adoption of Cohere products internally and externally.
- Gather customer insights and feedback to shape future products.
- Lead the design and deployment of customer pilots to showcase technology impact.
- Own the customer's technical narrative from discovery to business case.
- Bring structured customer feedback back to Product and Engineering teams.
- Lead technical discussions on customer calls.
- Design enterprise architectures.
- Conduct deep dives on customer queries and Cohere technology.
- Collaborate with customer executives to prioritize use cases and build AI adoption business cases.
- Facilitate customer evaluations and pilots.
- Develop and document processes to enable scaling for the Solutions Architect team and adjacent teams.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure offerings meet customer needs.
- Develop strategies with partners to enable and accelerate their customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., consulting data scientist, forward deployed engineer, deployment strategist, solutions architect) involving building and advising on AI or data solutions from problem framing to production.
- Passion for Agentic AI and practical understanding of LLM value and limitations in production.
- Solid grounding in ML fundamentals (training, evaluation, retrieval) and ability to design evaluation frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present to executives and engage with technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and establish high-impact structure and processes.
- Comfort working with Python and Assistive Coding tools.
- Professional fluency in English (business and technical).
- Preferred: Fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian.
