As the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for Asia Pacific, you will own and lead the Solutions Architecture function across the region, focusing on enterprise clients in banking, telcos, industrials, and government sectors. This role involves building and growing a regional team, driving technical wins, and shaping the direction of our AI solutions for complex, production-ready deployments.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture team through hiring, coaching, and development.
- Establish in-region depth for Solutions Architecture support across Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
- Leverage industry knowledge and network to secure strategic accounts and drive technical wins.
- Define the vision, strategy, and operating rhythm for the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture function.
- Lead customers in architecting and deploying secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions across various environments.
- Develop repeatable solution practices, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance consistency and win rates.
- Partner with regional Sales leadership to jointly own territory, coverage, and pipeline.
- Translate Asia Pacific customer needs into product improvements and roadmap priorities for Product and Engineering teams.
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, and technical deep dives with senior customer stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, solution architectures, and technical proposals.
- Guide customers through AI solution deployment, ensuring scalability, security, governance, and operational readiness.
- Create and maintain repeatable solution assets, industry playbooks, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Capture and communicate regional customer feedback and competitive insights to influence product strategy.
- Own and report on regional operational and commercial metrics.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture.
- 7+ years of experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
- Proven track record of developing individuals into senior and leadership roles.
- Experience building or running a technical organization across multiple Asia Pacific markets.
- Deep understanding of how enterprise technology is purchased in Asia Pacific markets.
- Existing network of senior technical and executive relationships in the region.
- Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams.
- Experience building a team in-region from a small base.
- Sufficient technical depth to be credible with customers and internal teams.
