Cohere is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in France. This role is crucial for deploying and managing our cutting-edge AI workspace platform, North, within enterprise environments. You will act as a key liaison between Cohere's core product and our clients' engineering teams, focusing on secure AI integration in critical sectors like finance and healthcare. The position offers a unique opportunity to solve complex problems at the forefront of Agentic AI and shape how enterprises leverage AI in real-world applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments.
- Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security, and data management.
- Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related technical issues.
- Travel up to 20-40% to work on-site with customers and partners.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven experience administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters and expertise with Helm.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization.
- Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Fluency in French.
