Cohere is seeking a Finance Systems and Automation Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role is crucial for supporting our rapid expansion and ensuring operational excellence at the intersection of finance and AI technology. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and advising on the accounting implications of major business decisions. Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle management of the NetSuite ERP environment, including architecture, configuration, integration, and roadmap planning.
  • Drive end-to-end process excellence across Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay workflows, resolving gaps between systems and ERP.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities in finance workflows, specifically using AI agents to replace manual processes.
  • Establish and maintain robust operational controls, including change management, data governance, and SLAs for audit readiness and SOX compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT, Engineering) to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and third-party integrations, ensuring data integrity and operational reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user support processes.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures for system stability and security.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP administration and configuration across multiple financial modules.
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end financial workflows including AP, AR, GL, month-end close, and consolidation processes.
  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies and successfully implemented automation solutions in finance contexts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities and ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to transform manual processes and create operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving requirements.
