Cohere is seeking a Corporate Communications Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for building and managing the company's AI narrative and delivering its story at scale. You will support the Corporate Communications team in various critical functions, including building communications analytics, spearheading agentic transformation, and managing global agency relationships. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing AI company, learn new things, and champion how the communications team operates both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Build the reporting and analytics function from the ground up.
- Spearhead development of agentic transformation, including building agents to enhance Comms team efficiency.
- Support the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications in crafting messaging and materials for executive leadership, people operations, product teams, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of Corporate Communications strategies aligned with organizational goals and brand positioning.
- Assist teams in the ideation and execution of rapid response communications.
- Support high-impact communications forums such as executive speaking engagements, industry conferences, customer events, and internal leadership gatherings.
- Optimize the corporate communications channel ecosystem, including earned media, owned channels, executive communications, and employee engagement tools, while innovating with emerging formats and technologies.
- Support cross-functional storytelling initiatives that connect daily work to Cohere's mission, amplify customer success stories, and elevate executive thought leadership.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience supporting in-house communications teams, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment.
- Adept at building agents to increase productivity and scaling them across teams.
- Scrappy, with a "outside the box" thinking approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in learning about policy and regulatory communications.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to distill complex topics into simple, compelling narratives.
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong project management skills and a bias for action.
- Creative in communications format, channel, and storytelling.
- Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships across all levels.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and prioritize effectively.
