The VoidZero team at Cloudflare builds open-source tools that power the modern web, with projects like Vite trusted by countless developers. We are seeking an individual passionate about building community, education, and representing our projects. This role is ideal for a builder, teacher, mentor, and communicator who is comfortable writing code and creating content, and eager to engage with developers where they learn.
Responsibilities
- Create end-to-end content (writing, videos, talks, code) to teach developers how to use products, including documentation, technical video content, live streaming, and tutorials.
- Represent the user's perspective in product discussions, bringing community feedback and issues back to product teams.
- Grow the developer community using our products by cultivating relationships and serving as a thoughtful point of contact.
- Collaborate within the open-source ecosystem with peers, partners, and maintainers to create content on integrating and extending VoidZero projects.
- Partner with Cloudflare's product development, engineering, and marketing teams to align content with company and ecosystem goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ML engineer, or in developer relations with hands-on coding ability.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Experience building community across platforms like Twitter, Discord, and YouTube.
- Proven track record of creating developer content (blog posts, talks, tutorials, videos).
- Clear spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
- Passion for open source and developer communities.

- Estimated annual salary between €54,000 - €80,000 for Portugal-based hires.
