As a Senior Product Manager at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for building products that improve the way the Internet works. You will shape high-level product goals and also get hands-on with daily tasks, from pitching concepts to senior leadership and collaborating with marketing, to conducting user research with designers, prototyping new features, iterating on specifications, analyzing usage data, and pairing with engineers on implementation. You will own priorities and scope for a high-performing engineering team focused on organizations and partners, navigating the tension between enterprise requirements and simplicity for individual users. This role involves leading API design reviews and determining best practices for company-wide implementation, balancing personal roadmap development with convincing other product managers to adopt a unified API standard. You will primarily engage with practitioners like platform engineers, DevOps professionals, and enterprise architects.
Responsibilities
- Own priorities and scope for a high-performing engineering team focusing on organizations and partners.
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with the Terraform SDK.
- Navigate the tension between enterprise requirements and simplicity for individual users.
- Lead API design reviews, determining best practices for company-wide implementation (e.g., pagination, versioning, deprecation).
- Balance building a personal roadmap with convincing other product managers to adopt a unified API standard.
- Engage with practitioners, including platform engineers, DevOps professionals, and enterprise architects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a product manager, technical program manager, or equivalent delivering solutions in the cloud at scale for a technical audience.
- Customer focus, with the ability to design for enterprises without compromising the experience for individuals and small businesses.
- User experience sense, comfortable working with product designers to translate requirements into an elegant user experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
