About the job
We are seeking a Procurement technologist to drive the strategy and execution of our global procurement technology ecosystem. This role will leverage Zip (Zip HQ) as the premier intake and orchestration layer, integrated natively with Oracle Fusion Cloud as our financial system of record. You will bridge the gap between user-centric intake and rigorous financial controls, ensuring that complex business requirements from Legal, Finance, and Global Sourcing are translated into seamless, automated workflows that maintain data integrity across both Zip and Oracle.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize the global Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, ensuring a frictionless hand-off between upstream sourcing/intake (Zip) and downstream purchasing/payables (Oracle Fusion).
- Act as the functional lead for both Zip and Oracle Fusion Procurement, building complex intake workflows in Zip and configuring Requisitioning, Purchasing, and Supplier Portals in Oracle.
- Own the functional health of the Zip-to-Oracle integration, monitoring data flow for Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Supplier Master Data, and Compliance screening.
- Lead discovery sessions with Global Procurement, Legal, and Accounting, translating high-level business policies into precise logic within the tech stack.
- Ensure the 'System of Record' (Oracle) remains audit-ready by managing the mapping of Category Codes, Cost Centers, and Tax attributes between the Zip UI and the Oracle GL.
- Manage quarterly update cycles for both Zip and Oracle, conducting impact assessments on new features.
- Lead the adoption and functional governance of Oracle's embedded and custom AI agents within the S2P process, ensuring compliance, auditability, and process efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement (Self-Service Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Model).
- 1+ years of experience with Zip (Zip HQ).
- Deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including PR/PO lifecycle, 3-way matching, Encumbrance Accounting, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
- Proven experience managing API-based integrations between Intake-to-Procure tools and Tier-1 ERPs.
- Ability to map complex, cross-functional business processes and identify opportunities for automation or bottleneck removal.
- Understanding of how changing a workflow in Zip impacts the General Ledger and AP downstream in Oracle.
- Experience establishing technical standards and governing system changes in a live production environment.
- Experience in an organization transitioning to an Oracle Cloud Ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Global Trade Management system.
- Third-party supporting software experience like Ironclad, Navan, etc.
- Exposure to the Data Center Infrastructure industry.
- Relevant professional product/functional certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud certifications).
- Working knowledge of AI Agent Studio for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
