About the job

Cloudflare is seeking a Post-Award Governance Specialist to manage the operational aspects of government contracts after they are signed. This role is crucial for ensuring contracts remain current, compliant, and paid. You will leverage advanced operational workflows and automated data pipelines to manage delivery, reporting, invoicing, and support for public sector deals, ensuring seamless operations from contract execution onwards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain global registrations in government infrastructure systems and procurement portals to ensure continuous bidding and payment eligibility.
  • Direct automated audit workflows to reconcile invoicing, tax records, and federal portal profiles, preventing payment issues.
  • Extract contract requirements, build automated reporting schedules, and oversee the timely submission of mandatory recurring deliverables to client agencies.
  • Monitor contract obligations and proactively triage technical issues that could impact past-performance ratings by partnering with Customer Support and using AI review tools.
  • Oversee contract performance evaluation cycles, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to protect the company's past-performance record.
  • Coordinate ongoing certifications for government contract compliance with internal teams to meet employment regulations and eligibility criteria.
  • Maintain and optimize the repository for RFx responses using automated knowledge management workflows and coordinating with subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • Direct experience managing post-award tasks for U.S. government contracts, including CDRL tracking, invoice reconciliation, and contractor reporting within automated frameworks.
  • Prior experience as a U.S. federal contracting officer or in a comparable federal acquisition role is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. federal procurement and vendor-management systems (SAM.gov, DSBS, ORBIT).
  • Working knowledge of international government contracting frameworks, global portals, and regional compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with FAR provisions related to subcontracting plans, invoicing, and contract reporting.
  • Experience with government contracting systems outside the United States.
  • Comfort collaborating across legal, finance, support, and security teams to manage automated workflows.
  • Organizational discipline with experience overseeing automated reporting pipelines and managing multiple recurring deadlines.
