Cloudflare is seeking a seasoned Intelligence Production Lead to manage the complete intelligence production pipeline within the Cloudforce One organization. This role involves translating complex threat research into clear, actionable content, and owning the process, quality standards, and delivery schedule for the team's intelligence output. The Lead will act as the managing editor and production manager, responsible for the publishing calendar, review cycles, and ensuring adherence to classification standards before customer-facing publication. Collaboration with threat researchers, analysts, security teams, and external partners will be key to prioritizing content and mentoring writers and analysts to elevate the team's tradecraft and written products. This position demands an independent, results-oriented leader passionate about cybersecurity and threat intelligence, with strong editorial judgment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end intelligence production pipeline, including intake, drafting, editing, review, and publication of intelligence reports, blog posts, briefings, and technical documentation.
- Set and manage the production schedule and release calendar, prioritizing intelligence products in coordination with researchers and analysts.
- Serve as the final quality gate for customer-facing publications, overseeing fact-checking, technical accuracy, and editorial review cycles.
- Write, edit, and publish high-quality intelligence content, transforming raw research into impactful narratives.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce style guides, templates, classification markings, and best practices for threat intelligence publications.
- Review and refine threat research content for clarity, consistency, technical precision, and adherence to editorial standards.
- Mentor and coach technical writers and analysts on writing craft, intelligence tradecraft, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with analysts and external partners to contextualize intelligence findings for effective communication to customers and the public.
- Partner with marketing, design, PR, and communications teams to amplify intelligence content and develop a cohesive security narrative.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a threat intelligence role within the Five Eyes (FVEY) community.
- 7+ years of combined experience in technical writing, cybersecurity research, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
