About the job

Cloudflare is seeking an Infrastructure Network & Supply Planner to join its Infrastructure Capacity Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for building the products, tools, and AI agents that translate growth and demand forecasts into scalable infrastructure expansions. Your work will ensure that the right capacity is deployed in the right place, at the right time, and at the optimal cost, all within the shortest possible timeframe. You will design and implement internal products, including forecasting models, planning systems, dashboards, and automated workflows, to enhance the speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of end-to-end infrastructure readiness at a global scale. Additionally, you will refine and develop new AI agents to model demand into supply, network, and capacity scenarios, proactively identifying risks and enabling planners to view the entire system and act swiftly. This role involves close collaboration with planning, operations, procurement, logistics, engineering, and finance teams to ensure the smooth progression of Cloudflare's global deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Translate demand forecasts into infrastructure capacity plans aligned with business growth, performance, cost, and timeline targets.
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness across space, power, connectivity, and hardware availability, identifying and mitigating capacity constraints.
  • Build quarterly and weekly deployment plans optimized for execution efficiency across various teams.
  • Track deployment progress, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum across the global fleet.
  • Partner with Procurement and Data Center teams to ensure timely hardware and resource availability at the right locations.
  • Manage inventory to balance availability, cost efficiency, and operational risk.
  • Support hardware refresh and asset lifecycle planning, aligning infrastructure investments with budget and growth plans.
  • Design, build, and ship internal products using AI/agentic tooling for data structuring, scenario analysis, and planning accuracy improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and introduce new tools and methodologies to improve planning and deployment operations.
  • Act as a central liaison across planning, operations, engineering, logistics, procurement, and finance for global deployments.

Requirements

  • Experience in capacity planning, infrastructure planning, production/operations planning, supply planning, or a related technical planning role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in complex operational systems and managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience building tools, automation, or internal products.
  • Fluency with AI tools in daily work and a desire to use and create AI/agentic tooling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
