Responsibilities
- Develop core frameworks for training and evaluating ML models to ensure performance, speed, and reliability at scale.
- Build datasets and algorithms for systematic evaluation and monitoring of model performance.
- Analyze model failure modes and collaborate with researchers on mitigation experiments.
- Manage and optimize the distributed training stack, addressing bottlenecks in parallelism, quantization, and kernel optimization.
- Contribute to and own auto research and auto kernels frameworks.
Requirements
- Deep industry experience working with top AI/ML teams on relevant problems.
- Strong software system design skills.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Fluency in PyTorch or JAX.
- Demonstrated impact on real-world problems and systems through technical spikes.
