About the job
Cerebras Systems is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Developer Relations team. This role focuses on building with new AI models, experimenting with developer tools, and creating technical content to educate other developers. You will prototype applications that showcase the benefits of fast AI inference, optimize the workflows around models, and translate your findings into clear, actionable tutorials and guides. The position requires a blend of hands-on technical work, including debugging AI workflows and comparing model behaviors, with strong technical writing and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Write blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, and practical guides based on experiments.
- Build sample applications, notebooks, and interactive experiences to demonstrate Cerebras' fast inference capabilities.
- Optimize and improve code and workflows around models, including prompts, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation.
- Experiment with new models to understand their capabilities, limitations, and suitability for different tasks.
- Design and conduct practical tests to measure results and validate technical claims.
- Create technically accurate launch examples, workshops, and stories in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
- Engage with developers, troubleshoot integrations, and identify areas for improvement in examples and documentation.
Requirements
- A strong portfolio of AI applications, prototypes, technical writing, or tutorials.
- Hands-on experience building with model APIs and debugging AI application workflows.
- Excellent technical writing skills, capable of explaining complex implementations clearly.
- Experience working with agent harnesses or related workflows (prompting, tool calling, context management, evaluation).
- Informed view of the AI developer ecosystem and curiosity about new models and frameworks.
- Strong technical judgment for designing fair comparisons and verifying results.
- Original ideas for demos and developer experiences.
- Ability to scope projects, ship independently, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively.
