This role involves being the primary point of contact, driving customers from contract signing through production and beyond, and contributing to the company's expansion in the region. You will work autonomously within your region while staying closely connected with the San Francisco HQ team on strategy and product roadmaps. The core of the role is to ensure customer success by driving them to go-live, maintaining account health, and growing their usage over time through problem-solving, removing blockers, and coordinating resources.
Responsibilities
- Own the full post-sale technical relationship for a book of India-based enterprise accounts.
- Drive customers to go-live with urgency and precision, defining success criteria and managing the rollout end-to-end.
- Independently triage customer technical issues and route them to the correct internal owner.
- Lead Field Development Engineers (FDEs) through implementation, setting direction and managing scope.
- Translate customer needs into clear internal documentation, including bug reports and feature requests.
- Proactively monitor account health, identify at-risk customers, and drive consumption and usage growth.
- Surface expansion opportunities to Sales with specific context and build handoffs for upsell-ready accounts.
- Act as the voice of India-based enterprise customers to the SF team, providing market-specific context on product discussions and regional use cases.
- Partner with product and engineering teams as a feedback channel, translating customer pain into platform improvements.
- Build the India TAM playbook, including frameworks, escalation paths, and checklists.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technical account management, customer success, solutions engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role at a high-growth B2B company.
- Genuinely technical ability to read API docs, understand system architecture, triage integration issues, and converse with engineers.
- Proven ability to manage a complex multi-stakeholder book simultaneously with strong prioritization judgment.
- Strong project management instincts to run complex implementations end-to-end.
- Excellent problem-scoping skills to clearly define issues and drive them to resolution.
- Strong communication skills across different levels, from engineers to VPs.
- Comfortable operating asynchronously with a remote HQ team, writing clearly and building trust across timezones.
- Commercially aware, understanding the connection between customer health and revenue growth.
- High ownership and autonomy, comfortable making decisions and being accountable for customer outcomes.
- Fluent with AI agents and tools for account management and automation.
