Your work will directly impact design documents, sales cycles, and high-level technical discussions with CTOs.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for Cartesia's infrastructure platform, including APIs, SDKs, deployment models, and developer experience.
- Translate enterprise deal signals into a clear product direction, distinguishing between one-off requests and strategic platform investments.
- Conduct customer technical reviews and collaborate with Field Development Engineers (FDEs), Solutions Engineers (SEs), and Solutions Architects during live deals.
- Debrief with CTOs to convert technical wins into closed business.
- Make and defend architectural trade-offs, such as latency vs. throughput and abstraction levels, in design reviews and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
- Author PRDs, go-to-market (GTM) primers, deprecation communications, and competitive analyses.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in infrastructure, developer tools, or AI/ML platform PM roles.
- Proven ability to ship products against a real engineering roadmap.
- Strong technical fluency, including the ability to read design documents, conduct architecture reviews, and articulate opinions on trade-offs.
- Experience owning a multi-tenant platform, developer tools product, or B2B infrastructure product where the customer is an engineer.
- Enterprise fluency, comfortable in technical reviews, sales pitches, and CTO debriefs, with the ability to translate between these contexts.
- Demonstrated track record of effectively saying 'no' and shipping iteratively.
- Clear and structured writing skills for PRDs, GTM primers, and deprecation communications.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools like Claude and Cursor.
