We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our mission of building real-time multimodal intelligence. This role involves embedding directly with enterprise customers to deliver agentic voice AI solutions into their production environments, maximizing customer success and revenue by transforming our core product into high-impact, deployed solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy voice AI systems for enterprise workflows.
- Lead customer engagements end-to-end, including discovery, architecture, implementation, and rollout.
- Drive projects forward in ambiguous situations with evolving requirements and unexpected system behaviors.
- Deploy solutions across cloud, VPC, and on-prem environments, managing security, networking, and compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and deployment issues.
- Identify new use cases and prototype solutions to deepen customer adoption and value.
- Surface recurring customer patterns to influence product roadmap and reusable capabilities.
- Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, and reference architectures from one-off solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and a track record of delivering reliable systems.
- Experience integrating APIs and distributed services into real-world infrastructure.
- Comfort operating across cloud and containerized environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
- Experience navigating enterprise constraints such as authentication, networking, observability, and security reviews.
- Ability to define structure for ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution.
- High ownership and bias for action, moving quickly without waiting for perfect specifications.
- Clear, structured communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior technical stakeholders.
