Cartesia is seeking an Enterprise Engineer to help build real-time multimodal intelligence by delivering agentic voice AI solutions to customers. This role involves architecting and building enterprise-grade systems, owning the design and delivery of platform capabilities shaped by customer needs, and transforming recurring patterns from deployments into scalable platform primitives. The ideal candidate will define and improve reliability, security, and operational maturity across the company's enterprise offerings, playing a key role in scaling Cartesia's solutions in demanding enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build enterprise-grade systems like On-Prem Deployments and Agent Infrastructure.
- Design and deliver durable platform capabilities based on enterprise requirements.
- Convert recurring customer deployment patterns into scalable platform primitives.
- Define and enhance reliability, security, and operational maturity for enterprise systems.
- Own core capabilities that enable scaling in enterprise environments.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals, with experience designing and shipping infrastructure, platform services, or core abstractions.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python.
- Ability to think in terms of long-term maintainability and modularity.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and translating customer feedback into product/platform improvements.
- Experience with enterprise-grade concerns such as customer-managed infrastructure deployment, compliance, observability, multi-tenancy, and security hardening.
