About the job

We are seeking engineers to develop open-source libraries that enable customers to observe, understand, and optimize AI within their production applications. These SDKs are a crucial component of our platform, powering evaluation and observability pipelines across diverse environments, frameworks, and AI providers. This role is perfect for engineers who are passionate about developer experience, API design, and building high-performance, reliable, and idiomatic libraries. You will manage the entire SDK lifecycle, from design and implementation to release, documentation, and community support. Your contributions will be integrated into thousands of applications, shaping the adoption and operationalization of AI across industries.

Responsibilities

  • Build elegant, idiomatic, and resilient SDKs for LLM evaluation and AI observability.
  • Ensure libraries are user-friendly, efficient, and enjoyable to work with, focusing on developer experience and performance.
  • Integrate with major AI providers, frameworks, and platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
  • Develop tools and automation for improved testing, profiling, and simplified release workflows.
  • Collaborate with backend, platform, and product teams for a cohesive developer experience.
  • Act as a community ambassador, engaging with users, understanding their issues, and facilitating contributions.

Requirements

  • Customer-obsessed with a passion for solving real-world developer problems.
  • Deep expertise in Go, with a strong understanding of building fast, idiomatic, and reliable libraries.
  • Proficiency with SDK development tooling, including testing frameworks, profilers, CI/CD, and packaging systems.
  • Strong focus on developer experience, including clean APIs, clear documentation, thoughtful error handling, and backward compatibility.
  • Experience wrapping, patching, or extending existing frameworks and SDKs for observability without disrupting workflows.
  • Proven experience maintaining or contributing to production-grade open-source libraries used across multiple environments.
  • Bonus: Contributions to popular open-source projects, experience leading SDK adoption, familiarity with tracing/observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry), or experience with LLM/AI ecosystem tools.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Daily lunch, snacks, and beverages
  • Flexible time off
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Wifi & cellphone stipend
