We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a strong customer focus. In this role, you will work directly with clients to implement our AI agents, develop custom solutions, and ensure they derive maximum value from our platform. This position blends engineering and customer success, involving hands-on coding, integration design, and AI system tuning, alongside direct customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship for customer implementations, from initial demo to production deployment.
- Configure AI agents to meet specific customer workflow needs and operational requirements.
- Build custom integrations, APIs, and workflows connecting AI agents to customer systems like CRMs.
- Tune AI models, including prompt engineering and voice customization, based on user feedback and usage patterns.
- Provide insights to product and engineering teams based on firsthand customer experience and feedback.
- Offer technical guidance to customers on AI agent design, workflow automation, and system integration.
Requirements
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with CTOs and explain AI capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong focus on customer outcomes.
- 2-5 years of experience building or implementing technical solutions.
- Foundational coding skills in Python or TypeScript for integrations and debugging.
- Clear communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and proactively find solutions.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Proficiency in managing multiple customer implementations, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
