Responsibilities
- Build upon autonomous agent solutions to tailor automation to specific, customer-centric workflows.
- Configure, prompt, and orchestrate AI agents on Automat Studio to navigate complex enterprise software platforms.
- Manage and support AI agents in Workforce deployments, ensuring reliability and evolution based on customer needs.
- Align automation strategies with customer needs, driving long-term innovation and resilience for the Automat product.
- Prototype new techniques and optimize pipelines for tasks like intelligent document extraction.
- Act as a trusted expert and human-in-the-loop partner to the agentic automation engine.
- Serve as the bridge between product, engineering, and customer teams.
- Engage in sales conversations and identify upsell opportunities.
- Expand Automat's AI-powered product offerings to improve velocity and scale.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated success in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., sales engineering, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering).
- Comfort orchestrating and configuring AI agents on a modern agent platform.
- Experience directing, prompting, and tuning agents.
- Familiarity with web automation backgrounds (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is useful.
- Ample experience using AI tools effectively (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable).
- Top-notch communication and collaboration skills, particularly bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.
- Proactive mindset and high initiative, with a bias toward action.
- Intrinsic desire to leave things better than you found them.
- Ability to work across the stack and be multi-disciplinary.
- Experience as an IC in startups or other dynamic, high-growth settings.
