As a Software Engineer on the RCM Product Team, you will play a key role in scaling and maintaining our Insights platform, ensuring a seamless user experience for thousands of practices. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing reliability, scalability, and performance while elevating the technical skills of the engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Build features for the Insights practice management platform to support thousands of practices and millions of users.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Improve system reliability and observability through best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Optimize performance and scalability of web applications for rapid expansion.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Own high-impact projects, balancing speed and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and drive architectural improvements.
- Work with product and design teams to build intuitive user experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on scalable full-stack applications.
- Proficiency in full-stack development with expertise in JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience owning multi-month, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of modern front-end engineering, React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design.
- Experience with complex backend systems, including API design and database performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on observability.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
