Responsibilities
- Research and develop new methods to advance Speech AI.
- Improve model training data by investigating quality issues and building tooling to identify and resolve them.
- Analyze production model accuracy, develop evaluation frameworks, and identify key areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to transition research prototypes into production-ready systems.
- Optimize and resolve performance bottlenecks within the training stack.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience training or fine-tuning frontier speech or multimodal language models.
- Strong analytical skills with a disciplined approach to measurement and skepticism of results.
- Willingness to engage with the entire model development pipeline, from data issues to evaluation.
- Enthusiasm for building and sharing tools for performance analysis and data processing.
- High degree of autonomy and self-direction in identifying and solving problems.
- Strong Python programming skills.
