The Mission Control team at Applied Intuition is seeking an engineer to build a tailored suite of UIs that enable defense customers to interact with our autonomy stack, also known as a C2 (Command and Control). Users, including warfighters, program managers, and test engineers, require a strong user interface to test, understand, and operate our autonomy in simulation and in the field. This role offers a "startup within a startup" environment with day-long iteration cycles, focused on supplying much-needed autonomy tooling to the Defense industry. Engineers on this team will build a highly configurable, stable, and intuitive frontend platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, including 2D/3D graphics & visualizations of live agents.
- Collaborate with the Design team to understand user workflows and develop a vision for Defense Tooling UI/UX.
- Integrate frontend implementations with an in-house simulator, data-transmission pipeline, autonomous systems, and other defense applications.
Requirements
- Experience with full-stack web development.
- Interest in spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering problems.
- A strong vision and good taste for intuitive user interfaces.
- A desire to learn and grow into a position of ownership and impact.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
