Applied Intuition is seeking an AI Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on developing AI capabilities, agent frameworks, and an app platform that underpins all company products and internal engineering workflows. This is a foundational role with existing customer demand and significant growth potential, offering the autonomy of a startup within a well-resourced organization. You will have the freedom to experiment, iterate quickly, and engage directly with customers to shape the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy shared AI infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling for AI capabilities across products.
- Collaborate with product teams to identify and implement high-leverage AI use cases from concept to production.
- Act as the company's GenAI/LLM expert, establishing best practices for architecture, safety, evaluation, and deployment.
- Develop and ship agentic systems, including background coding agents and AI SRE tooling.
- Engage with customers to understand needs, demonstrate capabilities, and influence the product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and deploying AI/ML-powered features and products.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic architectures.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on shipping production-quality code.
- Proficiency across the full stack, including backend infrastructure, APIs, and frontend development.
- Collaborative attitude and enjoyment of customer interaction.
- Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
