Applied Intuition is seeking a systems-minded procurement professional to join their rapidly evolving team. The Procurement Operations Lead will be responsible for optimizing ERP environments and building scalable workflows, with a role that will continue to advance alongside AI and automation within the company. This position involves owning product direction for supply chain systems and data, transforming complex supply chain elements into clear data models, and defining workflows for supplier management, logistics, and trade compliance. The role requires partnering with IT on technical decisions, collaborating with various departments to validate solutions, and defining metrics to demonstrate product impact, while also identifying opportunities for AI and automation to enhance processes.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction for systems and data that run the end-to-end supply chain.
- Develop clear data models and specifications from complex supply chain maps.
- Define and manage workflows and product interfaces for all supplier management.
- Define and manage workflows and product interfaces for logistics and trade compliance.
- Collaborate with IT on technical trade-offs and system design.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Legal, Program Management, Engineering, Business, and Operations to understand domains and validate built solutions.
- Define and track metrics to prove product leverage.
- Identify areas where AI and automation can replace manual processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of supply chain systems experience, ideally in data, platform, workflow, or internal tools.
- Ability to work with IT on technical trade-offs and independently reason about system and data model design.
- Strong written communication skills for crisp requirements, clear prioritization rationale, and documented points of view.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proven ability to establish structure.
- Demonstrated success in shipping products with measurable operational impact.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems in a supply chain or finance context.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Zip.
- Proficiency in working directly with underlying data and tables.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
