Applied Intuition is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Mission Control team, which builds a tailored suite of UIs for defense customers to interact with our autonomy stack. This role is a "startup within a startup" focused on building a highly configurable, stable, and intuitive frontend platform for mission planning, monitoring, and debriefing. You will design and implement a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, including 2D/3D graphics and visualizations, and work closely with the Design team to develop a vision for Defense Tooling UI/UX. You will also integrate your frontend implementation with our in-house simulator, data-transmission pipeline, and autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, including 2D/3D graphics & visualizations of live agents in the world.
- Work closely with the Design team to understand user workflows and develop a vision for the Defense Tooling UI/UX.
- Integrate frontend implementation with state-of-the-art in-house simulator, data-transmission pipeline, autonomous systems, and other defense applications.
Requirements
- Experience with full-stack web development.
- Interest in spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering problems.
- A strong vision and good taste for intuitive user interfaces.
- A hunger to learn and grow into a position of ownership and impact on a new product team.
- U.S. citizenship (legally required) and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Aptitude with spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering (WebGL, Cesium, GIS, etc).
- Experience with React, Typescript or Angular technologies.
- Experience with real-time command and control interfaces for robotic systems.
