Applied Intuition is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join the Mission Control team, which builds tailored UIs for defense customers to interact with their autonomy stack, known as C2 (Command and Control). This role operates like a "startup within a startup" with rapid iteration cycles, providing essential autonomy tooling to the Defense industry. The engineer will focus on building a highly configurable, stable, and intuitive frontend platform, including UI/UX with 2D/3D rendering and selection tools for defense applications like mission planning, command and control, and simulation. The position involves designing and implementing a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, collaborating with the Design team on user workflows, and integrating frontend implementations with the company's simulator, data-transmission pipeline, and autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform, including 2D/3D graphics and visualizations of live agents.
- Work closely with the Design team to understand user workflows and develop a vision for Defense Tooling UI/UX.
- Integrate frontend implementation with the in-house simulator, data-transmission pipeline, autonomous systems, and other defense applications.
Requirements
- Experience with full-stack web development.
- Interest in spatial reasoning and 2D/3D geographic map rendering problems.
- A strong vision and good taste for intuitive user interfaces.
- A hunger to learn and grow into a position of ownership and impact on a new product team.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
