About the job

Anthropic's Infrastructure organization is responsible for building and operating the compute infrastructure that powers their frontier AI models. This involves managing a complex physical supply chain of servers, accelerators, networking equipment, and other hardware. The Warehousing and Logistics team plays a critical role in this process, ensuring that all necessary components are received, inspected, secured, tracked, and delivered to the right locations at the right time. This role will focus on managing the day-to-day operations of this supply chain outside of North America as the company expands globally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee international warehouse operations, managing third-party logistics providers for receiving, storage, kitting, and fulfillment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and asset tracking for all infrastructure hardware, maintaining chain of custody.
  • Plan and execute domestic and international shipments, managing carriers and resolving exceptions.
  • Manage third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders, including performance and cost.
  • Collaborate with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, and security teams.
  • Manage reverse logistics for returns, RMAs, and end-of-life equipment.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for warehouse and shipping activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hazardous materials, export control, and customs regulations.
  • Define and report on operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support capacity planning for warehouse space, staffing, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods.
  • Hands-on experience with a warehouse management or inventory management system.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers.
  • Working knowledge of domestic freight (LTL, FTL, parcel) and associated documentation.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements for shipping and storing IT or electronic equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build processes from scratch and manage operations through growth.
  • Ability to travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US as needed.
