About the job
Anthropic is experiencing rapid growth in its enterprise business, with increasing adoption of Claude across various product surfaces. To facilitate this, a robust foundation of security and compliance controls, identity and access management, data governance, admin controls, and cost management is essential. This is particularly crucial for customers in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, and the public sector, where stringent security, privacy, and resilience requirements set the standard. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to collaborate with teams responsible for these enterprise foundations. You will manage the planning and execution rhythm to ensure these capabilities are integrated across all product surfaces and contribute to a comprehensive leadership view of coverage, gaps, and progress. This is a senior role where product, engineering, and go-to-market leaders will rely on your insights regarding enterprise readiness and your plans to address any shortcomings.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and operating cadence for the foundational capability roadmap across all surfaces, ensuring clear DRIs, sequenced dependencies, and a single source of truth for leadership.
- Drive high-priority foundational capability programs end-to-end, from scoping and trade-off decisions to delivery across all surfaces.
- Define the readiness bar for new products and features, specifying essential controls for enterprise customers and making decisions on in-flight features lacking necessary controls.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, solutions, and support teams, engage in customer security and compliance reviews, and relay enterprise blockers back to product and engineering.
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical programs, working with legal, compliance, and go-to-market teams to prioritize and map high-impact enterprise asks to roadmaps with timelines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical program management experience, with a proven ability to build cross-functional programs from scratch in ambiguous environments.
- Experience driving decisions among senior leaders with competing priorities and clearly articulating readiness for enterprise customers.
- Experience driving adoption of platform or horizontal capabilities across product teams without direct reporting lines.
- Understanding of enterprise adoption requirements, especially for regulated industries, including security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP), identity and access (SSO, SCIM, RBAC), data governance (retention, residency, customer-managed keys), audit logging, and spend controls.
- Experience working directly with regulated customers on security reviews, questionnaires, audit findings, and contract redlines, understanding the interplay of control design, evidence collection, and engineering delivery.
- Ability to thrive and shape operating models that are still being defined.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
