Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems to be safe and beneficial for users and society. As a Technical Architect for Claude Code, you will be instrumental in helping customers successfully integrate and utilize our AI solutions, including Claude Code, Claude Tag, and enterprise admin controls. You will educate customers, partners, and internal teams, and train others to disseminate this knowledge. This role involves hands-on engagement with customer engineering organizations, teaching them about Claude Code and guiding them through complex rollouts with your advanced administrative knowledge. You will frequently present to audiences, from large webinars to customer-specific workshops, and prepare materials on short notice. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI adoption as the team rapidly expands and new products are launched.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training in various formats, including large webinars, workshops, and multi-day onsite sessions, tailored to customer needs.
- Train customer technologists and champions to become certified deliverers of Anthropic's material.
- Educate enterprise administrators on technical requirements for successful rollouts, covering topics like single sign-on, permissions, connectors, and data handling.
- Rapidly develop and deliver polished technical content, demos, and plugins using Claude tools.
- Gather and relay specific customer feedback from the field to product teams for improvements.
- Collaborate with account executives, customer success managers, and other technical roles.
- Travel 30-50% of the time for onsite engagements, workshops, and events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or developer advocacy, with a proven track record of shipping code and teaching engineering audiences.
- Proficiency in shipping code that others depend on and the ability to engage deeply with senior engineers across the stack.
- Daily experience with agentic tools like Claude Code and informed opinions about their use.
- Experience presenting to large live audiences, handling unexpected technical issues gracefully, and adapting to new material quickly.
- Ability to transition smoothly between informal conversation and rigorous technical discussions.
- Demonstrated care for customers and a commitment to ensuring understanding and success.
- Proactive initiative in building and developing solutions without explicit direction.
- Resilience and steadiness when facing shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and high-pressure situations.
- Comfort with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving industry and product landscape.
- A strong interest in and commitment to the responsible deployment of AI.
