Anthropic's Enterprise AI Products team is responsible for developing the features that make Claude a daily-use tool for enterprise customers. This involves focusing on organizational context and workflows, such as plugins, skills, connectors, and webhook-triggered processes or agents. The team aims to understand and address adoption barriers by building new capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to shape the product and architecture in a nascent market, acting as a technical leader who considers the end-to-end customer experience, collaborates with research to productionize model advancements, and takes ownership of shipped products.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and delivery of enterprise-facing core products across the entire stack.
- Partner with product, design, and go-to-market teams to translate enterprise customer workflows into shipped products.
- Set technical direction and standards for the team, including architecture, code quality, and development processes.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and translate them into engineering priorities.
- Collaborate closely with research to enhance model capabilities in the domain, shaping evaluations, identifying failure modes, and feeding customer learnings back into model development.
- Mentor other engineers and elevate the team's technical capabilities through influence.
- Build multi-player, asynchronous agents for department-level processes triggered by webhooks, forms, or emails.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a Staff or equivalent technical leadership role.
- Experience leading the design and delivery of complex enterprise or B2B products across the full stack.
- Experience building AI products and translating model capabilities into user-facing applications.
- Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating learnings into technical decisions.
- Experience building products from inception (0 to 1) in fast-moving environments and setting technical direction with limited precedent.
- Ability to drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work through influence.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range: $405,000 - $485,000 USD
