Anthropic is seeking several Product Operations Managers to embed within its core product teams, contributing to key components of its AI stack. The Product Operations team acts as the connective tissue between Research, Product, and the market, shortening the distance between AI capabilities and user adoption. In this role, you will manage launch readiness, run early access programs, and triage customer feedback. You will also build systems to enable faster product shipping and learning, leveraging Claude to fill gaps and deliver significant value.
Responsibilities
- Own launch readiness for product teams, maintaining the launch calendar and ensuring all necessary sign-offs.
- Manage early access and beta programs, defining objectives and collecting actionable feedback.
- Oversee new model launches, setting readiness goals, tracking testing, triaging issues, and running post-launch retrospectives.
- Translate user feedback into clear signals, ranking requests by impact and mapping them to the roadmap.
- Ensure field, Support, and Research teams receive feedback on issues they've raised.
- Manage the team's operating system, including planning, reviews, goal tracking, and offsites.
- Facilitate predictable collaboration between your team and other departments like Legal, Safeguards, Security, and GTM.
- Minimize reporting overhead by generating digests from existing data.
- Take on unique projects for your team, such as managing Monthly Business Reviews.
- Build internal tools using Claude for tasks like triage and dashboarding.
- Contribute built tools and processes back to the ProdOps team as reusable patterns.
Requirements
- Owned an operational program end-to-end (launches, early access, feedback, or planning) that a product team relied on for decision-making.
- Built and scaled processes from scratch, treating process as a product with users, metrics, and a clear path.
- Worked embedded with product leadership and can influence teams without formal authority.
- Shipped LLM-powered workflows, including writing prompts and iterating on outputs.
- Managed evaluations, refined system prompts, and adapted harnesses for new models.
- Worked with Cloud providers in a partnership or GTM capacity.
- Committed to the safe deployment of AI.
- Experience with AI Safety and Safeguards is a bonus.
- Program managed model launches or model quality at an application-layer AI product is a bonus.
- Run early access, beta, or design partner programs is a bonus.
- Product management, technical program management, chief of staff, or strategy and operations experience at a startup or fast-growing product company is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
