About the job

Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for users and society. This role focuses on managing Anthropic's model safeguards, fraud defenses, and compliance posture across major cloud partners like Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform, and Microsoft Foundry. You will own the strategy and roadmap for how these critical aspects are integrated and presented on third-party distribution platforms, ensuring a consistent and secure experience for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-cloud strategy and roadmap for safeguards (data retention, automated/human review, enforcement) tailored to each partner's operating model.
  • Design product experiences and operational paths for managing eligibility, verification, and controls for differentiated capabilities.
  • Build threat-intelligence sharing mechanisms with AWS, Google, and Microsoft to ensure consistent misuse detection and action.
  • Drive transparency commitments to customers and partners regarding data access, review, and enforcement.
  • Own fraud and abuse defenses for partner-sold offerings, including bot/mass-registration abuse, pre/post-sale risk controls, and chargebacks.
  • Define fraud signals exchanged with cloud partners and translate them into product requirements influencing growth initiatives.
  • Engage with enterprise security, risk, and compliance leaders to understand requirements and prioritize the roadmap.
  • Serve as Anthropic's product counterpart to trust & safety, security, and compliance teams at AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with Safeguards, Inference, Policy, Security, Legal, and multi-cloud engineering teams to deliver coherent controls across three clouds.
  • Partner with sales and partnerships to support enterprise evaluations where data-handling and safety requirements are critical.
  • Work with marketing and partner teams on external positioning of safeguards.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of product experience in platform product roles for high-scale, enterprise- or developer-facing software.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and execute across teams.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity out of complexity.
  • Fluency in both policy nuance and systems detail, capable of explaining trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
  • Prior product experience in trust & safety, security, privacy, or compliance is preferred.
  • Experience building or shipping products with a hyper-scaler as a partner is preferred.
  • Experience owning a top-line revenue target while being accountable for counter-risk outcomes (e.g., fraud loss, abuse rate) is preferred.
  • Direct experience on a trust & safety, fraud, or security product team at AWS, GCP, or Azure, or at an ISV shipping through their marketplace, is preferred.
  • Background in AI safety, content moderation, or abuse-detection systems is preferred.
  • Experience designing incident-response or escalation processes spanning multiple companies is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
