About the job
As a Product Manager for Business Technology, you will own internal products that shape how Anthropic works with Claude. You will embed with internal customer teams such as Legal, IT, GTM, Product, Finance, and Security to understand how they work, find where Claude can remove friction, and ship software and automation that changes their outcomes. This role requires strong product judgment, comfort with technical systems, and the ability to turn messy internal needs into clear priorities. You will work closely with engineering, IT, IT Engineering, Security, and the teams you serve. You will own outcomes, not features. Adoption and measured business impact are how your work is judged.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for Claude-powered internal products and automation across one or more customer functions.
- Run intake and prioritization to ensure the highest-impact problems are addressed first.
- Write clear problem statements and requirements for engineers.
- Ship iteratively, gather feedback, and continuously improve products post-launch.
- Co-develop adoption roadmaps with internal customer teams and ensure accountability.
- Define success metrics before starting work and report on adoption and business impact regularly.
- Manage change management as part of the product, including rollout, training, and support.
- Evaluate and rework or discontinue products that are not delivering value.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders in served functions and translate their needs into product priorities.
- Partner with IT, IT Engineering, and Security on access, data handling, and governance for internal Claude usage.
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance on product-specific requirements.
- Communicate plans, progress, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.
- Understand the integration of Claude, internal systems, and other systems to make sound scoping decisions.
- Partner with engineering on architecture choices for maintainable and secure internal products.
- Stay current on Claude capabilities and introduce them to internal teams where appropriate.
Requirements
- Deep product management experience, including ownership of internal team-used products.
- Shipped products that measurably changed team or function operations.
- Partnered with engineering, IT, and security teams on technical products.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain tradeoffs to executives and requirements to engineers.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and prioritizing competing requests.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range: $305,000 - $385,000 USD
- Visa sponsorship available for some roles
