Anthropic is seeking an AWS Partnerships Lead to spearhead and expand our AWS co-sell strategy throughout Southern Europe. This is a unique opportunity to establish the commercial collaboration model between Anthropic and AWS in the region from the ground up. You will represent Anthropic to AWS sales teams in Southern Europe, develop joint opportunity pipelines, lead co-selling efforts with enterprise clients, and shape how cutting-edge AI technology reaches the market through one of our most strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, possesses a strong background in cloud partnerships, and is eager to contribute to the safe and responsible commercialization of advanced AI.
Responsibilities
- Drive AWS co-sell and GTM strategy in Southern Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, and surrounding markets.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with AWS partner and commercial leadership and field teams in the region.
- Develop and execute joint business plans, co-sell strategies, and activation programs tailored for Southern European markets.
- Grow the opportunity pipeline, contribute to its acceleration, and generate revenue through AWS, ensuring regional forecasts and targets are met.
- Collaborate closely with Anthropic's sales, partner marketing, product marketing, and global partnerships teams to align regional execution with overall strategy.
- Design and organize customer engagements, marketing moments, and joint commercial activities to accelerate Anthropic's adoption on AWS.
- Provide market insights and competitive analysis to product and GTM teams to inform regional positioning.
- Lead regional business reviews with AWS regional leadership and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in strategic partnerships, cloud partnerships, or enterprise sales within the enterprise technology sector.
- Direct experience partnering with or working within a hyperscaler (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Proven experience building cloud partnerships from scratch, establishing initiatives without a large local team or pre-existing playbook.
- Familiarity with the Southern European enterprise landscape and its operating cloud ecosystem.
- Experience managing pipeline and revenue targets, with a strong understanding of partner and customer economics.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with a strong bias for action and building.
