About the job
Go To Market (GTM) Systems is seeking a DevOps / AgentOps Engineer to build and manage the platform for Sales and contracting operations. This includes a production Salesforce org and a growing portfolio of custom internal applications and agents that handle revenue-impacting transactions and critical business data. The current manual development-to-production process needs to be automated. You will design, build, and maintain an AI-first CI/CD pipeline that supports agentic, human-in-the-loop, and AI-assisted workflows, integrating Anthropic's frontier models into the toolkit. This role is crucial for accelerating development, ensuring guardrails, approvals, and audit trails are integral to the system.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the CI/CD pipeline for a production Salesforce org and custom internal applications.
- Define how changes are classified and routed through agentic, human-in-the-loop, or AI-assisted lanes, including gates and escalation.
- Build the agent operations layer, defining agent scope, tools, permissions, sandboxing, and trust boundaries.
- Implement approval workflows for PR review and business sign-off, specifying rules and evidence requirements.
- Own environment strategy, secrets handling, deploy observability, and rollback mechanics.
- Produce the audit trail and evidence required for a SOX-scoped platform.
- Measure and report on pipeline performance, including lead time, failure rate, and agent adoption.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve pipeline defaults based on user feedback.
Requirements
- Experience building and running a CI/CD pipeline, including branching, merge gating, and rollback.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment mechanics (metadata API, source-tracked development) or a comparable enterprise platform.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools and agentic workflows, with clear opinions on the division of work between agents and humans.
- Strong understanding of designing for failure cases, including blast radius, sandboxing, and permissions.
- Comfort working with GitHub Actions or comparable CI systems, infrastructure as code, and scripting.
- Ability to write clear design documents and defend them to diverse audiences.
- Shipped agents or automation operating within a production system of record.
- Experience operating a platform under SOX or a similar audit regime.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Gearset, Copado, sfdx-based pipelines).
- Experience migrating from manual to governed pipelines while maintaining team velocity.
- Experience building approval or notification workflows in Slack or similar tools.
