About the job
Anthropic is seeking a Corporate Development Integration Lead to manage the critical post-signing phase of M&A activities, from diligence through operational integration. This high-visibility, cross-functional role will define and scale the integration playbook, build repeatable processes for technical and organizational integration, and work with executive leadership to ensure acquisitions deliver on their strategic thesis. The ideal candidate has deep prior integration experience at high-growth technology companies and brings a structured, hands-on approach to navigating post-deal complexity. You will be energized by turning strategic intent into operational reality, thrive working across organizational boundaries, and understand that integration is where M&A value is ultimately created or destroyed. Join us in building the infrastructure that ensures Anthropic's acquisitions create lasting value for both the mission of safe AI and the brilliant teams we bring into the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead confirmatory diligence workstreams post-LOI, coordinating with various teams to validate the strategic and technical thesis before deal close.
- Develop and maintain due diligence frameworks tailored to Anthropic's acquisition types.
- Own the integration readiness assessment, identifying risks and providing go/no-go input.
- Coordinate technical deep dives with engineering and research leadership.
- Design and own end-to-end integration plans covering organizational structure, tooling, product roadmap, and operational continuity.
- Build and maintain a scalable integration playbook with best practices and decision frameworks.
- Develop integration timelines and milestones in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate introductions and relationship-building between acquired teams and internal stakeholders.
- Model financial and operational scenarios to stress-test integration assumptions.
- Drive day-one and day-100 integration execution, tracking milestones and escalating blockers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for acquired teams during the transition period.
- Partner with HR and people managers to design onboarding and retention plans for key talent.
- Conduct post-integration retrospectives to capture lessons learned and measure outcomes.
- Build and report integration KPIs to leadership.
Requirements
- Strong technical fluency through prior software engineering or product experience, or deep familiarity with evaluating technical organizations and codebases.
- Skilled at building cross-functional relationships and coordinating across product, engineering, legal, HR, and finance teams.
- Excel at translating strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with clear timelines, owners, and accountability.
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can maintain both urgency and precision when managing multiple parallel workstreams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present integration status and recommendations clearly to executive leadership.
- Genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with Anthropic's mission.
