As an Applied AI Engineer within the Enterprise team, your role is to guide some of France's largest companies to the forefront of AI and help them deploy Claude in their operations, products, and ways of working. You will become the go-to specialist for the Claude platform and the trusted technical advisor to your clients. You will advise their engineering teams on architecture, agent design, and evaluation, and work with executives and senior leaders sponsoring these programs to demonstrate Claude's value and aid in informed adoption decisions. Enterprise engagements differ from typical transactions, involving longer procurement cycles, more stakeholders, and success contingent on linking technical work to board-level outcomes. You will be equally comfortable advising an engineering team on evaluation and architecture as you are presenting a value case to a CIO or CTO, carrying the technical thread through multi-quarter engagements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account managers and applied AI architects to guide enterprise clients from initial engagement through technical evaluation, value validation, and purchase decisions.
- Lead the technical aspect of each opportunity until the adoption decision, serving as the client's technical advisor on Claude during deployment.
- Prepare clients and their system integration partners for delivery by agreeing on target architecture and success criteria, remaining available to advise the delivery team.
- Guide large enterprise clients to the cutting edge of AI, advising on deploying Claude in their operations, products, and workflows.
- Assist client engineering teams in understanding how to build on Claude, covering architecture, agent design, and evaluation, to enable confident decision-making.
- Develop and present Claude's business value case to executives and senior leaders in French and English, linking technical capabilities to measurable outcomes like cost, revenue, risk, and time-to-market.
- Guide clients through long procurement and adoption cycles with multiple stakeholders, including technical evaluations, proofs-of-concept, security and architecture reviews, and defining a clear path to production.
- Collaborate with account managers to support clients through the entire engagement lifecycle.
Requirements
- Native or fluent French proficiency is essential for this role, as much of the work involves interacting with French executives and engineering teams.
- Comfort advising engineering teams on evaluation and architecture.
- Ability to present a value case to a CIO or CTO.
- Experience guiding clients through long procurement cycles and multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Familiarity with AI platform deployment in enterprise settings.
- Ability to work closely with Enterprise Account Managers and Applied AI Architects.
- Understanding of security and scale requirements for enterprise AI solutions.
- Experience preparing system integration partners for implementation.
