As an Applied AI team member focused on cybersecurity, you will collaborate with enterprise account teams to assist the world's largest organizations in leveraging Claude for securing their systems and software. You will combine deep security expertise with customer-facing skills to guide clients through their cybersecurity journey with Claude, regardless of their current stage or future aspirations. You'll meet customers where they are, identify opportunities for Claude to perform meaningful security tasks, and guide them from initial pilots to sustained production workloads. You will also help security leaders articulate the value of this work to their executives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives and architects to understand customer security programs, identify where Claude can contribute, and develop technical plans and business cases.
- Act as the primary security-domain technical advisor to large enterprise customers throughout the discovery and deployment process, coordinating internal teams to ensure customer success.
- Transition customers from one-time code scanning to continuous security workloads, including application security in SDLC, automated penetration testing, alert triage, and threat intelligence.
- Build and maintain reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation methods for customers to run workloads with Claude, adapting them to specific environments and controls.
- Design and conduct workshops and hands-on sessions for customer security teams to engage directly with Claude on their code and workflows.
- Collaborate with security industry partners on shared accounts, enabling them to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes and clarifying Anthropic's and partners' roles.
- Deliver technical content to diverse audiences, including deep dives for security engineers and value-focused discussions for CISOs and executives.
- Define and track the adoption depth of security workloads across accounts, and work with Product and Engineering on necessary telemetry.
- Develop reusable playbooks and best practices for security workloads, detailing how Claude complements existing customer security tools.
- Identify common patterns and feature gaps, providing insights to Product and Engineering teams.
- Develop reference customers who can attest to the value realized.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LLM capabilities and the security landscape, including new vulnerabilities and attacks related to frontier models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security roles with hands-on depth in at least two of the following: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, or Technical Account Manager, or in a security team that required gaining leadership buy-in.
- Experience working with large enterprise customers, navigating complex buying cycles with multiple stakeholders, and collaborating with existing vendors and partners.
- Ability to articulate the value and risk of security work to CISOs and executives, and to translate between security, engineering, and business teams.
- Proficiency with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments, with direct experience integrating tooling into engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with common LLM frameworks.
