We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Air Dominance & Strike team, which designs, builds, and flies autonomous air vehicles. This role is crucial for accelerating our design cycles by applying the latest research in physics ML to critical bottlenecks. You will own the entire surrogate modeling stack, from architectures and training infrastructure to data pipelines and user tooling, directly impacting hardware decisions for our air vehicle programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy surrogate models to accelerate physics simulations for air vehicle programs.
- Collaborate with aerodynamicists, structures engineers, and thermal engineers to inform hardware decisions.
- Identify and develop novel applications of physics ML across the company's portfolio.
- Own the surrogate modeling stack, including architectures, training infrastructure, simulation data pipelines, and tooling for design engineers.
