The Discovery team incubates and matures AI-native offerings across hardware, software, space, and cyber domains, architecting mission autonomy and mesh networking. As an Infrastructure Software Engineer on this team, you will build robust compute infrastructure for scalable machine learning operations, tackling challenges in networking, autonomy, and systems integration. Your work will ensure seamless integration of Anduril products, with opportunities to see your creations deployed in the field. You will embody a 'Whatever It Takes' mindset, making sound engineering decisions to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and working directly with customers on deployment.
Responsibilities
- Set up infrastructure, simulation solutions, and integrations for agent development.
- Manage Infrastructure-as-Code for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployments.
- Create capabilities for multiple customers with heavy training and validation workloads.
- Build applications to productize and democratize scalable machine learning.
- Collaborate with customers, product designers, researchers, and engineering teams to build and optimize software products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry).
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages like Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and codebases.
- Desire to work on impactful, real-world software.
