Accenture is seeking a Knowledge Engineering Industry Leader with deep industry fluency in insurance, communications & media, or retail, combined with expertise in knowledge engineering. This senior technical role involves owning the methodology, asset portfolio, and technical point of view for industry digital-brain disciplines within your vertical. You will be responsible for industry discovery, super-ontology design and build, lifecycle management, vertical agent patterns, and regulatory hooks. The role requires you to be the named industry voice, engaging in analyst conversations, industry councils, and advocating for encoded industry knowledge as a competitive advantage. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Own the methodology for industry discovery, super-ontology design and build, and lifecycle management.
- Own the asset portfolio, including industry ontologies, vertical agent patterns, and regulatory hooks.
- Serve as the technical point of view and industry voice for encoded industry knowledge.
- Translate domain knowledge into data products, ontologies, or AI use cases.
- Publish or speak publicly on AI within your industry.
- Own a productized offering, platform, or methodology.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years in industry (insurance, communications & media, or retail).
- Minimum of 3 years translating domain knowledge into data products, ontologies, or AI use cases.
- Minimum of 5 years working alongside industry clients at the executive level.
- Working fluency with knowledge graphs, taxonomies, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Minimum of 2 years of publishing or speaking publicly on AI in your industry.
- Minimum of 3 years owning a productized offering, platform, or methodology.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to earn client executive trust with technical depth.
- Clear, defensible point of view on the current AI frontier.
