We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Java, J2EE, web technologies, and enterprise application delivery. You will bring hands-on capability across frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, backend services, SQL, and database management systems. Experience with Curam is a strong asset, and candidates willing to learn it will be considered. You will apply sound software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are also interested in using Agentic AI capabilities to improve development productivity, solution delivery, and user outcomes. You will be part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team responsible for designing, building, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions. You will implement product features across the full technology stack and translate functional requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop full stack application components using Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and related web and database technologies.
- Build maintainable, reusable, and testable code following established standards.
- Prepare and deploy application code across environments using established release and configuration-management processes.
- Perform unit testing, support integration and system testing, analyze defects, and deliver timely bug fixes.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and environment issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, sprint ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous-improvement activities.
- Support application releases, production validation, ongoing maintenance, and operational issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or College Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of overall experience in JAVA development.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Hands-on experience with frontend web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational data concepts, and database management systems.
- Experience designing and implementing both frontend and backend components for enterprise web applications.
- Experience with object-oriented design, service integration, application architecture, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and the ability to apply AI-enabled tools responsibly within software delivery workflows.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery practices, and DevOps principles.
- Experience writing unit tests, diagnosing defects, and supporting integration and system testing.
- Experience with build, deployment, configuration-management, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience using Git or a comparable source-control system and working effectively in collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
- Must have Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
- English proficiency is required for interaction with global stakeholders.
- Experience with IBM Curam solutions or willingness to learn it is a plus.
- Experience delivering solutions in regulated environments with security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Experience supporting large-scale public-sector or enterprise digital transformation programs is a plus.
