Accenture Supply Chain & Engineering is seeking professionals to help industrial companies build the technological foundations for transforming data, processes, and information into concrete, scalable results by leveraging intelligence for business. This involves establishing robust data and process foundations on cloud platforms, integrating analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic architectures to drive decisions, automation, and new services. The role requires understanding client business needs, translating them into technological solutions and roadmaps, defining architectural designs, and technically guiding execution from design to production. Professionals will utilize Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance design quality and efficiency, and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Translate client business needs and priorities into achievable technological solutions and roadmaps, defining solution design, detailed design, components, integrations, patterns, and implementation paths.
- Design, detail, and implement end-to-end solutions or take responsibility for a vertical component in areas like Cloud Infrastructure Setup, DevOps and CI/CD; Data Ingestion and Data Platform, including backend, microservices, APIs, and integration; or Analytics, Machine Learning, and agentic architectures, including workflow orchestration and multi-agent systems.
- Support delivery teams by ensuring continuity between design and implementation, guiding technical choices, and resolving issues until production.
- Systematically use Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate solution and detailed design, improving quality, detail, and consistency.
- Mentor junior individuals through technical leadership, design and code reviews, knowledge sharing, and project work, contributing to reusable patterns and best practices.
Requirements
- Significant experience in software engineering, solution architecture, system integration, cloud setup, data platforms, and agentic architecture, with hands-on experience in designing complex solutions.
- Ability to understand client business needs and priorities and translate them into coherent and achievable solutions or solution components.
- Deep expertise in at least one of these areas: Cloud Infrastructure Setup, DevOps and CI/CD; Data Ingestion and Data Platform (including backend, microservices, APIs, integration); or Analytics, Machine Learning, and agentic architectures.
- Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, REST APIs, synchronous/asynchronous integration, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud-native patterns, containers, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Practical experience using Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools for architecture and detailed design.
- Solid cloud skills and familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#), with the ability to discuss implementation and automation aspects with development teams.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, conduct architecture and design reviews, mentor junior resources, and communicate technical decisions effectively.
- Fluent English.

- Salary range based on CCNL Metalmeccanico: B2 (€33,058.74 - €50,500) or B3 (€36,906.87 - €59,100) gross annual salary.
